SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST
STOCKPORT, GREATER MANCHESTER
SALARY - Up to £45,000 pa dependent upon experience

Overview

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Architectural Technologist to join their established Architecture and Interior design practice based in the Stockport area of Greater Manchester. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to take a lead role on a variety of small to large scale projects within the hospitality and leisure sectors. This will include the chance to run your own projects from inception to final delivery. Previous experience of Hospitality projects would be an advantage, however suitable experience in other sectors can also be considered.

The Role:

As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will work collaborate with the full design team, contributing your expertise to detailed design and project coordination.

Key responsibilities will include:

Collaborate with the design team to translate concepts into planning application packages, detailed technical drawings and construction documents for tender and construction phases.
Ensure the technical accuracy and compliance of architectural drawings and specifications.
Support and often lead a variety fast paced hospitality projects.
Attend site visits and liaise with all necessary stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the scheme.
About you

Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate:

BSc or HND in Architectural Technology or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist.
Proficiency with AutoCAD is essential.
A portfolio demonstrating suitable experience, ideally of projects within the hospitality or leisure sectors.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplined design and delivery teams.
Strong technical knowledge and a keen eye for details.
Previous Job running experience would be an advantage.
Full UK driving license
