Are you an experienced Team Leader within Commercial Cleaning with working knowledge of ductwork cleaning (TR19 cleaning)? Then this is a position for you!
GMP Recruitment are proud to be in partnership with a national, specialist, commercial cleaning company. We are currently supporting their recruitment for a Team Leader to join their team on a full time, permanent contract, to commit to working contracts within Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
The successful Team Leader will receive a salary of £31,500 plus their own company van, and you will be given the opportunity to build your own team around you.
This position is working 5 days out of 7 and you must be available to work afternoons, evenings, weekends and very occasionally nights.
We are looking for a candidate with previous supervisory experience in commercial cleaning and experience in ductwork cleaning (TR19 cleaning).
Our client is looking to interview potential candidates on Thursday 21st March so applicants should be available for interview on this date.
Team Leader main duties:
· Ensure the weekly cleaning schedule is adhered to and all cleaning records are completed professionally and accurately
· Responsible for ensuring that all areas of the kitchens/equipment are cleaned effectively to standards required
· Take ownership of Health and Safety for yourself and others at work
· Complete all work in accordance with current legal Health and Safety requirements
· Ensure that team members are aware of their responsibilities
· Client facing position so must be professional at all times, represent the company image and maintain excellent relations both internally and externally and at all levels
· Report problems and non-conformances to the management team
· Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and appearance
· Wear protective clothing where necessary
· Ensure any appropriate warning signs are always in use
· Observe and comply with site rules and regulations at all times
· Maintain equipment and materials in a clean and safe working order
· Respond courteously to customer and management requests
· Provide feedback and before & after photographs of the clean
· Manage and control the use of the cleaning chemicals, protective clothing and hygiene consumables ensuring stocks are maintained at all times
· Undertake any other duties requested by management team
Team Leader required skills and experience:
· Experience of commercial kitchen cleaning and/or kitchen extract cleaning
· Be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude
· Be able to work to a predetermined schedule
· Be able to lead and work as part of a team
· Be able to work using their own initiative and confident in decision making
· Flexible on working times 5 days out of 7; available to work afternoon, evenings and nights
· Prepared to travel and stay away for short periods of time
· Full clean UK/EU driving licence
· Knowledge and understanding of COSHH regulations
