Position Overview: As a full-time SEN TA, you will work closely with a child in Key Stage 2 who is non-verbal and higher on the autism spectrum. Patience and compassion are essential as you employ alternate communication methods, potentially including PECs training, to effectively engage with the child. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate an inclusive and supportive learning environment, collaborating with classroom educators to deliver targeted support tailored to the unique needs of Key Stage1 and 2 students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate seamlessly with classroom educators to deliver targeted support for Key Stage 1 and 2 students with special educational needs, focusing on ASD.
* Implement tailored learning plans and dynamic teaching methodologies to address the individual needs of each child.
* Cultivate an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere, prioritizing the social and emotional well-being of every Key Stage 2 student.
* Actively engage students in stimulating classroom activities, ensuring their participation and enthusiasm.
* Foster strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and fellow professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience working with older children in an educational setting, particularly within Key Stage 1 and 2.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering seamless collaboration with teaching staff, parents, and stakeholders.
