Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed technical assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses to evaluate the performance and integrity of the systems.

Oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment and systems, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities on electrical assets to identify and address potential issues proactively.

Troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions in the system systems, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to restore functionality.

Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate project delivery, manage resources, and resolve technical issues effectively.

Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on electrical matters, including regulatory compliance and best practices.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes in the electrical industry, incorporating new knowledge into project designs and methodologies.

Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization, promoting best practices and adherence to established standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

Time served electrician / HNC HND electrical engineering

Strong understanding of UK electrical regulations and standards.

Experience in an industrial electrical environment would be advantageous.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyse complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and engage with clients and stakeholders.

Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary - £39,000.00 per year +15% for two shifts+20% for three shifts

Two shift: Monday to Friday. 7 to 3 and 3 to 11 rotating alternate weeks.

Three shift: Nightshift Sunday start 11 to 7 finishing Friday morning at 7am. Then back shift Monday to Friday 3 to 11 followed by day shift 7 to 3 Monday to Friday.
