Established for over 8 years, Cadam Group is a regional house builder and commercial/social housing contractor. Its our mission to provide quality new homes and commercial buildings to private and public sector clients in and around Yorkshire, from land sourcing through to full turnkey construction.
The Land Buyer role will be a large part of our further expansion into luxury residential speculative developments alongside partnerships for projects of various uses such as; social housing, investor commercial developments and other public sector organisations.

The Land Buyer Role
The position will provide a springboard for the groups already established house building, social housing and commercial construction experience. You will be responsible for identifying and sourcing the best locations for new developments within and around Yorkshire.
Identifying, evaluating and securing sufficient land/sites for residential development to support our objectives of achieving and maintaining a quality land bank. The role will involve the following duties:
Identifying and evaluating, securing sites for residential and some commercial uses
Creating and maintaining relationships with, Agents, landowners, partners such as Registered Social Landlords, investors
An ability to manage process, including; creative ideas to identify sites, bid and legal management, technical including planning process, partnership relationship management.
We are seeking a candidate who has great networking skills, an established contact base, planning and technical appreciation, strong and confident interpersonal skills.
Key Skills and Experience of our Land Buyer
The suitable candidate will need to have a proven track record in identifying and acquiring developmental opportunities within the operational area and demonstrable skills in commercial negotiation, contract progression, site appraisals and report presentation:
A strong network of contacts in the land agency world.
Have a good geographical knowledge of the Yorkshire region and have a comprehensive contact base
Have previous land buying experience within the housebuilding sector.
Have good negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
Be motivated and driven
Hold a valid UK driving license
