This is an exciting opportunity for a Legacy Marketing Manager to join a successful and expanding individual giving team. Your role will be responsible for leading the gifts in Wills marketing programme to recruit, retain and develop legacy supporters through a stewardship journey that provides a great supporter experience. The role will lead on the development and delivery of end-to-end recruitment and retention plans across a range of offline and online channels and will manage the Legacy income and expenditure budget. You will have strong experience of working with external suppliers and partner agencies, negotiating costs, managing contracts, and driving performance to achieve targets.

ROLE FOCUS

Experience required:
• Proven experience of developing and delivering a programme of direct marketing activities covering multiple channels and audiences in line with agreed strategies
• Proven experience of developing profitable and engaging campaigns.
• experience of writing, developing, editing, and evaluating compelling and response driven copy and creative.
• In depth knowledge and experience of direct marketing channels including print, digital, direct mail, telephone.
• Experience of creating propositions based on audience insight and understanding.
• Significant experience of interrogating, analysing, and interpreting complex data sets for targeting and segmentation purposes.
• Experience of working with creative agencies, copywriters, mailing houses and printers.
• Setting, managing, and delivering against budgets and KPIs.
