Twenty 4 Seven are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work within a creative and unique residential school for children between the ages of 5 & 19.
We seek to meet the needs of children and young people with autism and severe learning difficulties with associated behaviours that may be challenging. We have achieved national recognition for our developments in Communication and Behaviour Management. The aim of this post is to provide support to a named student and their classroom group during school hours. The duties will not be confined solely to the named student but also involve working with other students in the class. You will be required to take on responsibility for a variety of everyday tasks as directed by teaching staff. With guidance from teaching staff you will work as part of the class team to implement all aspects of the students educational programme and will play an important role in safeguarding the students health and safety. For all posts we look for candidates who are mature, warm, creative and open to learning with a patient and caring attitude to deal sensitively with vulnerable children.

** Desire to gain experience working with children
** Demonstrate positive behaviour management
** Good communication and organisation skills
** Right to work in the UK
** Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. Candidates without an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service will have to apply for a new one
