ASR International are partnering with another fantastic client who are looking for a Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager, they are a global brand, a recognised manufacturer of Sanitaryware, Bathroom furniture, brassware and accessories manufacturer.
Salary between £45,000 - £50,000 + Hybrid car, + bonus circa 30% - OTE £65,000
In this role, you will cover the North East, from the Scottish borders to South Yorkshire. This is an Account Management role; you will manage and develop circa 75 accounts that help to generate over £2.2m from the mid-market independent bathroom showrooms. Whilst this isnt all the accounts, some others will be plumbers merchants and other showrooms working with the trade collection of products.
As the Area Sales Manager you will be covering is: NE, DH, SR, DL, TS, YO, HU, DN, LN, S, WF, LS, HG, BD, DL postcodes.
* You will be training showroom managers on products, organising displays, updating the CRM, and working in partnership with these showrooms to help get the most out of the products and space.
* You will also arrange quarterly reviews with the managers to understand the business, volume, competitors and future opportunities. Ultimately adding value to the showrooms.
* We are looking for someone who is commercially savvy, someone who understands questioning! The USPs and MI reports look for trends, competitor analysis and what they do well and not so well! Someone who understands that quality of quantity is better; you can close accounts if it doesn't make commercial sense!
* After six months, you should have a solid understanding of your top 30 accounts and be able to talk about the turnover, opportunities within that showroom, what the key products are, the competitors, and how you can take more market share!
* When we look for the 10-15% growth in your area, you can articulate where it's likely to come from.

This is a two stage interview process; the dates available are the 22nd and 23rd of February and the 7th and 8th of March. We are looking for candidates within the industry, someone familiar with middle to high-end showrooms and eager to develop and learn.
