Your new company
Our corporate client is looking to recruit a Financial Modeller for a hybrid role, 2 - 3 days based in Brighton or Worthing, rest remote.
Your new role
You will be responsible for owning and proactively maintaining the Group's financial model, delivering critical insight, enabling the business to make informed strategic decisions. You will be developing and maintaining complex financial models to facilitate the accurate and timely consolidation of all financial data from within the group, demonstrating their impact on our financial and financing ratios and overall valuation of the business. Presenting data and modelling results to a variety of senior internal and external stakeholders. Work alongside external stakeholders on a regular basis in developing valuation reviews. Rigorously identifying and resolving any inconsistencies or discrepancies in financial data/modelling, with a continuous improvement mindset and drive for efficiencies. Assisting in the preparation of group-level financial reports, including board presentations and external reporting requirements. Participating in financial planning and forecasting initiatives to support the group's strategic goals.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant with experience of creating complex financial models over a long-term planning horizon, ideally within a financial institution, regulated utility or similar with a complex capital structure. The ability to present data to a variety of stakeholders, including business leaders, and confidence in managing detailed queries. Advanced level Excel skills are a must, as well as excellent communication skills.

What you'll get in return
This is a hybrid role 2 - 3 days in the office at either the Brighton or Worthing site, salary £55,000 - £77,000 depending on experience, 5% bonus, generous pension, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
