Hours: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm (37.5 hours a week)

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS trust plays a huge part in west Essex and east and north Hertfordshire's way of life.
The trust runs a busy hospital, The Princess Alexandra Hospital and provides services at St. Margaret's Hospital and Herts and Essex Hospital. Together serve a population of around 350,000 people.
What youll be responsible for:
* Be responsible for operational flow, capacity and demand management and ensuring pathways are optimised to support performance targets and financial targets including CIP.
* Ensure daily processes are in place to identify early any risks to achievement of performance targets and develop detailed recovery plans for any area below expected performance.
* Ensure the CD is kept updated on all performance areas within the CBU and highlight any specialties of concern.
* Develop business cases on behalf of the CD to support service development or improvement.
* Ensure that operational delivery also provides high quality of care to patients.
* Demonstrate a clear commitment to and role modelling of the Trust values.
Youll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
Youll have the following skills/experience:
* Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
* Excellent organisation skills
* Previous admin experience
* Previous NHS experience
* NHS System Knowledge
* Previous managerial experience
This role may require you to show evidence of education at Masters level or at least 2 years relevant experience.
