Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Location: Thanet
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and enthusiastic team as soon as possible at our established nursery in Thanet. As a Level 3 practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and wellbeing, and helping them to develop their social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Plan, organise and deliver a range of activities and experiences that are age-appropriate and aligned with the EYFS framework
* Maintain accurate records and use them to inform future planning and activities
* Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
* Create and maintain a clean and safe learning environment, ensuring that equipment and resources are well-maintained
* Work in partnership with parents to support children's learning and development at home
* Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including health and safety, safeguarding and data protection
Requirements:
* A minimum of Level 3 childcare qualification, such as NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent
* Good understanding and knowledge of the EYFS framework and its implementation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, colleagues and parents
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to the overall development of the setting
* A strong commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare
