Contract Manager opportunity. Residential new builder. Volume Builder. Covering Kent projects.
We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager for one of our prime residential clients in Kent to oversee up to 5 separate projects, all traditional build.
Candidates will need to have new build residential experience as either a Project Manager on a large phased development, or already be managing multiple projects at the moment.
Duties:
* Ensuring all projects are delivered against budget and timescale.
* Leading and managing Project teams on the projects under your control.
* Reporting to the Construction on progress/programme / and cost control on allocated projects.
* Overseeing the design and attending design meetings
* Assisting the Production Department in dealing with suppliers, as necessary.
* To ensure all site-related Risk Assessments and Method Statements are in place and issued.
* Manage own workload and areas of responsibility.
* Agreeing monthly fixing sub contractors applications; ensuring correct documentation is in place and in line with budget/order.
* Liaise with housing associations, oversee health and safety, manage sub-contractors.
Requirements:
* A proven track record in managing multi-phase residential projects as Project Manager or Contract Manager.
* Experience delivering large residential schemes for volume developers.
* CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid at Work required
* Knowledge of NHBC and UK building regulations
* IT literacy including MS Office and programming software.
Our client is looking to offer an excellent basic salary of between £85,000 - £95,000 plus a flexible package including car allowance, bonuses and 25 days annual leave increasing annually .
