Our client based in The Fens is looking to recruit an Engineering Manager on a full-time permanent basis working Monday to Friday (NO evenings or weekends). Looking after a small Engineering team/department this role will still be very much hands-on. The role will involve the day-to-day running of a busy department to include allocation of works, reactive maintenance as well as planning preventative maintenance. Managing the budget (CAPEX), getting involved in project work with the leadership team, regarding operation factory layout moves etc. reporting any issues with machinery that needs upgrades etc. and rather than just coming up with problems come up with solutions.121s of the team, managing holidays. In a nutshell it is a busy hands-on role.

To be considered for this role you will have experience managing/supervising a small team and have managed a budget within a department.

Interviews are to happen this year with a view to starting in January 2024 (if a 3 month notice period is applicable then a later start day will happen.

The company offer 25 days holiday plus BH. Basic salary up to £50k plus Bonus.
