CI activities to support improvements in Cost, Quality and OTIF including build and test efficiency.
Analysis and reporting of products subject to warranty claims
Provision of support to assembly, test department, manufacturing, sales, and customers
Creation of production procedures
People Management
Manage Individual Performance & Development
Mentor other team members as appropriate
Manage team members when supporting self-projects.
Carry out company HR processes appropriate for their role.
Customer Relationship Management
Direct contact with customers and suppliers on technical matters, including occasional visits off-site.
Special Features/Skills Required:
Project management, Test rig design/commissioning, Innovation, 3D CAD competence, methodical, report writing, effective communication at various levels. 5 years minimum Engineering experience including valve experience. Preferred, although not mandatory: Onshore/Offshore oil and gas topside/subsea hydraulic control valve experience, although training will be provided.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum HND in Engineering. Degree preferred.
Job Type:
Full-time - 37 hrs per week.
Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm
Finish 1pm on Friday's. 5 weeks holidays + bank holidays.
Salary - £45-48k (DOE)
Company Contributed Pension scheme and 2 x salary life cover.
