Our client, a leading Building Services company in Manchester, is looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the operation, maintenance, and repair of multiple buildings in the Northwest area.
Job details:
* Perform planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and emergency breakdowns in diverse commercial buildings
* Work on AHUs, pressurisation units, pumps, and various heating systems
* Expertise in commercial gas repairs, servicing, and installations
* Ensure compliance with current gas regulations and possess strong controls knowledge
* Utilise plumbing skills and have a sound understanding of electrical safety
* Must be willing to work out of hours when required and be part of the out of hours call out rota (1 in 15)
Qualifications / Experience:
* Commercial gas qualifications (essential)
* Domestic gas knowledge (preferred but not essential)
* 18th Edition qualification (desirable)
* Experience with oil systems
* Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices
Whats on offer:
* Salary: £40,000 - £42,000
* Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 16:30pm
