Position: Electronics Design Engineer

Location: Cambridgeshire

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 + Excellent Benefits / Prospects (including Relocation Assistance)

The Company: Our Client, an innovative dynamic passionate Company that manufactures minimal invasive next-generation robotic-assisted medical devices that are at the forefront of how surgical procedures are carried out. An award-winning company that plans to significantly disrupt the way surgery is performed for the benefit of millions of patients all around the world.

Due to sustained continued expansion they now require an Electronics Design Engineer to assist with the design, develop, test and improve highly integrated PCBs and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies to ensure functional requirements are satisfied.

Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Prototyping and testing design changes and supporting verification activities such as EMC testing and compliance with safety standards

* Schematics capture and review and guiding the PCB layout process to ensure mechanical, safety and design intentions are met

* Work with mechanical, software and manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are optimised for integration with other system components and the manufacturing process

The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:

* A HNC / HND or Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline

* Two+ years experience of Electronics Product Design (Analog / Digital Design) / FPGAs etc

The successful candidate will enjoy a salary of between £40,000 to £50,000 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits / Prospects (including Relocation Assistance) plus excellent prospects and an employment package that you would expect from a company that values its employees.
