We are delighted to be working with a leading business based just outside of Newmarket as they seek to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team. The role has become available due to a move internally, and within the role, you will report into the Financial Controller. Due to the nature of the position, this role will be based fully from the office.
As the incoming Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in the day to day running of the finance department. You will be tasked with the following duties, including but not limited to:
- Processing Purchase invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Sales invoicing processing
- Credit Control
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
As the successful candidate for this role, you will possess previous experience working within a similar level finance role. You will also be confident in your communication skills, both on a written and verbal level as you will be the main point of contact for any customer or supplier queries, Other attributes you will ideally possess include:
- Good knowledge of excel and finance systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise your workload in an efficient and effective manner
