ELECTRONICS DESIGN ENGINEER/DRAUGHTSMAN

We are recruiting for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to work for our client who are located in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF AN ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER:

* Assisting current and future projects as well as legacy product support

* Review drawings and prepare drawing documentation

* Evaluate strength and cycle time requirements

* Soldering skills

* Test theoretical designs using simulation software or prototyping

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS OF A MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER:

* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, HNC or Apprenticeship with proven experience in the Industry

* Experience in embedded C for various micros such as PIC and STM32, IDEs and compliers

* Experience in PCB layout using Easy-PC , Eagle or similar software

* Knowledge in communication protocols SPI , RS232, Can-Bus, USB , I²C.

* Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS FOR A MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER:

You will work a day shift 8am-4.30pm

THE PAY FOR A MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER:

You will earn a salary of between £28k-£40K depending on experience
