Electrical Fitter

My client is a specialist manufacturer of high value bespoe machinery that is exported in to various markets. They make machinery which is supplied in to the pharmaceutical, medical devices and textiles markets across the world. Trading for over 70 years and having experienced sustained growth over the past 5 years they are once again, looking to add a skilled and ethusiastic Electrical Fitter to their team.

1.

Examine and use drawings or specifications to find out job, material, and equipment requirements.

2.

Carry out hard wiring of machines

3.

Secure cables & hardware parts from suppliers and prepare cabling & make up wiring harnesses.

4.

Make electrical connections to drive motors, rollers, heaters, barrels & die heads,temperature controls etc.

5.

Number wiring for installations.

6.

Check accuracy and quality of electrical assemblies.

The successful Electrical Fitter must have a background in Electrical Fitting of machinery and a qualification in Electrical Engineering (NVQ etc.)
