The Company
Seymour John is exclusively recruiting on behalf of an established market leading company who can demonstrate year on year growth for the past 10 years. They are a manufacturing / sales and distribution business with a growth target from £130m to £200m in 2025. This is as a result of continued ongoing investment into core growth business areas.
They seek to recruit a Sales Manager to join the leadership team, with a core focus on the development and implementation of strategic sales strategies. In this role you will partner with an extensive sales and marketing function to develop and deliver successful sales and marketing campaigns across the UK brand. You will be an experienced Sales Director / Leader who is passionate about process and best practices to drive revenue, who is no longer chasing the thrill of the sale, but instead gets job satisfaction from imparting their knowledge and experience to others.
The Opportunity
* Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
* Monitor and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Create and implement processes to measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create sales materials and campaigns.
* Analyse customer feedback and develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
* Performance related bonus of 10% (50/50 personal & profit).

The Candidate
You will be an experienced Sales professional with a proven ability in implementing and delivering new and improved processes in line with best practice. Although no longer directly generating revenue through traditional sales activity, you will be passionate about the Customer Journey and taking a consultative approach to Client meetings which will in turn drive revenue. Your industry experience is not a deal breaker, although experience within the Manufacturing or Construction industries would be a benefit. You must be able to commute to the Telford HQ 2-3 days per week.
