Role Summary
They are seeking an experienced and highly skilled EPC Energy Assessor to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the latest processes, legislation and regulatory compliance and also hold a proven track record of successfully delivering EPCs at Level 3 and Level 4.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Attending commercial property to undertake EPC assessments, across chosen regions of the UK.
2. Modelling EPC data and providing complete EPCs and Recommendation Reports.
3. Liaison with clients to provide relevant EPC advice as required.
4. Preparing Energy Improvement reports, based on initial EPC assessments.
5. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior assessors. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
6. Engage with clients to understand project requirements, present technical solutions, and address client concerns. Build and maintain strong client relationship.
7. Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to guarantee the accuracy and reliability. Conduct thorough reviews of project deliverables.
8. Perform site inspections and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical engineers and project managers, to ensure seamless integration.
9. Stay updated on emerging technologies, software updates and relevant legislation.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Preferably at least five years' experience
2. Design Builder software knowledge is advantageous
3. Level 4 EPC accreditation essential. DSM Level 5 accredited preferable
4. A solid history of EPC Audits through an Accreditation Body
5. Residential/Domestic EPC accreditation advantageous
6. BRUKL/Part L knowledge advantageous
7. Previous experience within construction/building services preferable
