We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to work in a prestigious location about an hour outside of Glasgow.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and reliable Sous Chef, up to date with modern cooking techniques. This chef will need to be able to keep a level head in the heat of service.

Our venue has multiple food outlets in varying degrees of levels, our ideal chef will be comfortable going from making fresh pizzas in the afternoon, to plating fantastic fine dining dishes in the evening.

The ability to work with every level of staff member, while maintaining your own level of professionalism will stand you in good stead.

** This would suit a driver with their own vehicle as public transport links will be difficult to coincide with shift times.**

Required: Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

· Passion and enthusiasm for food and quality.

· At least 3 years Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie experience in a similar environment.

· Level 2 of food hygiene, Level 3 desirable

· Creative flair & attention to detail

· Team player with a strong work ethic

· Meticulous, organised and punctual

As Sous Chef you will have responsibility for:

· Food production, menu development, stock management & wastage.

· Compliance with all statutory regulations and legislation.

· Staff training & retention.

· Food safety & hygiene.

· The kitchen budget, Gross profit margins and kitchen staff rotas in the absence of the Head Chef.

· Maintain exceptional standards of quality assurance, food prep and cooking.
