A confident Senior Architectural Technologist is now required to join a rapidly growing, modern medium sized multidisciplinary based out of their Norwich office.

The Senior Architectural Technologist

The Architectural Technologist will work on a variety of projects, from working with the Defence sector to education, healthcare, listed buildings, leisure and more.

As a Senior Architectural Technologist you should be a confident job runner, and experienced in both AutoCAD and Revit.

Further responsibilities:

Understand clients requirements and develop briefs
Feasibility reports for clients, considering statutory restrictions and briefing the client from the outset
Prepare Building regulations, Planning applications and Listed building applications
Liaise with clients and relevant authorities
Prepare design drawings for tenders
Produce pre-tender estimates and obtain costs from suppliers
Take responsibility for the project and matters that may arise
Deliver and coordinate projects
Assist in developing design schemes to detail design stage
Liaise with subcontractors, specialist suppliers and other contractors
Checking of drawings
Carrying out measured surveys of buildings
Attend site meetings where appropriate
Writing technical specifications utilising NBS
Provide technical input for BREEAM assessments, SBEM calculations, EPC's and integrate requirements into drawings packageFurther Skillset required of the Architectural Technologist:

AutoCAD and Revit proficiency

MCIAT or working towards

Relevant degree

Experience within Defence highly preferred
