We are currently working with a Roofing company based in Middlesborough, who offer comprehensive, tailor-made solutions across a range of roofing competencies such as tiling & slating, leadwork, tile support systems, heritage roofing, flat roofing, roofline & guttering, and carpentry & cladding. This well-established company offers its services to a range of projects for their commercial and domestic client base.

This company is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team - candidates must have experience working as an Estimator, and have previous experience working within the roofing industry.

Position Overview - Roofing Estimator

Undertaking accurate take offs from construction drawings.
Calculating rates including labour, material costs and preliminary items.
Populating client bills of quantities and pricing schedules.
For secured projects attending handover meetings with surveying, design and management.
Maintaining accurate records of tender submissions, tender queries and RFI's.
Preparing tender bids and collating information from enquiries received.
Meeting client on-site to negotiate best price and understand requirements.
Researching materials, equipment and labour costs.Position Requirements - Roofing Estimator

At minimum of 3 years experience in a simular role.
Knowledge of various roofing systems such as tiling, slating and lead.
Good professional telephone skills with smart appearance.
Computer literate- especially in Excel, Word, Outlook and Bluebeam.
Excellent organisation skills.
Fantastic communication skills - candidates must be able to effectively communicate with other departments within the company, as well as subcontractors and suppliers.Position Remuneration - Roofing Estimator

£30,000 - £50,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
