We are looking to source an exceptional individual for the role of Events Manager. Our partner specialises in event management and provides tailored logistic solutions for a variety of industries including motorsport, music, events, exhibitions, and the nuclear sector.

The Role
The primary base location during the off-season will be in Appleton-Thorn; however, there may be flexibility regarding the location.
As an Events Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with company and legislative standards. This includes planning truck movements across the UK and Europe in alignment with the F1 season calendar and adhering to cross-border movement regulations. During events, you will be responsible for technical trailer and pod builds according to specified schedules and processes.

Responsibilities of the Events Manager include:
Transporting high-value cargo while adhering to legal, compliance, and Brexit regulations.
Preparing, loading, delivering, and setting up equipment at events, as well as dismantling and transporting equipment to subsequent locations.
Ensuring meticulous attention to detail throughout each event, maintaining the appearance and functionality of all equipment.
Meeting target dates within agreed timescales with customers and ensuring all components are fully operational.
Completing customer event reports and managing budgets by raising purchase orders.
Manual technical trailer and pod builds, maintenance, cleaning, and ensuring operational readiness within agreed timescales.
Strategically planning resources and coordinating travel arrangements with support from the back-office operations team.
Ensuring all vehicles are equipped with necessary kits, fuel cards, toll boxes, and relevant documentation for border crossings.
Assisting in accident investigations and follow-ups with support from the back-office operations team.
Maintaining vehicles to a high standard consistent with Formula 1 presentation requirements.
Ensuring all legal documentation is up-to-date for trucks/trailers and complying with relevant regulations.
Understanding exit and entry declarations, GVMS route logs, and communicating legal updates to drivers.
Supervising Working Time Directive (WTD) compliance for drivers during events.
Liaising with various stakeholders including driver agencies, customers, emergency services, and service providers.
Cooperating with the employer to fulfil legal obligations and following health, safety, and welfare protocols.Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for the role of Events Manager, the following are essential.
Previous experience in Events Management, within prestigious motorsports or F1.
Class C+E (Class1) HGV license.
Working knowledge of EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) Legislation.
