About the role - Sports Coach

I am currently working with this mainstream secondary school based in Newham who are looking for a sports coach ASAP. The school are looking for a candidate who has a relevant sports degree and previous coaching experience. The school are looking for a sport graduate coach to set up lessons and help with classroom management throughout the academic year. The successful candidate will ideally be willing to go the extra mile and help run extra-curricular activities and sports teams including football and netball.

This oversubscribed, good mainstream secondary school based in the heart of Newham cater to students between the ages 11 and 16 with a SLCN and ASD unit in place to support students with SEN needs. The school have a reputation for looking after staff where a number of schemes in place to support a better work life balance, the school support each member of staff with a lower than average teaching loads where each teacher is treated as a specialist therefore isn't required to teach cover lessons outside of their subject specialisms. Each teacher is given efficient time to do their job properly including co-planning sessions throughout the week to make planning and marking more time efficient allowing teacher to focus on other aspects on teaching and learning.
