Club Steward - Salford City Roosters
£12 per hour - average hours 25 to 30 hours per week
This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly when necessary. (The majority of the work will be undertaken between Thursday to Sunday on a weekly basis)
Salford City Roosters Rugby League Club is an inclusive, Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), with its own grounds and clubhouse facilities in Peel Green, Eccles. It is a non-profit making Limited Company with all surplus funds invested into the club through a CASC arrangement. The Club is managed by a committee on behalf of the Club Members.
The Committee want to appoint an experienced manager to oversee the management of day-to-day operations of the bar, kitchen and associated areas (known as the Club House) to increase the Cubs income and help us become increasingly sustainable. All profits raised through the Club House are invested in the sporting and community endeavours of the Club.
The job involves the day-to-day management of the Club, under the general direction of the Committee, and includes bar, cellar, and staffing management, stock taking and till reconciliation and other routine tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Club.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a similar role. In addition to the appropriate social skills, they should be energetic and ambitious, familiar with IT including Electronic Point of Sale systems.
