Brief Role Description:
ChampionX seeks an District Sales Representative II to join our Sales team.
If you are a passionate Sales professional with a proven track record of success in Technical Sales we invite you to apply.
You will spend your time split between the ChampionX office and the customer office as required.
You will also be required to perform site visits to the customer operation locations both on / offshore.
In this role you will be responsible for working with relevant chemical management systems, applying best practice and codes of operation to meet the needs of the customer and the contract.
As part of our continuous improvement philosophy, you will effectively communicate progress and improvements to the rest of the Sales team.
You will deliver value to the customer through your understanding of dynamic processes and ability to deliver solutions that can increase revenue and reduce total cost of operation.

What You Will Do:
Accountable for active participation in company safety culture, completing actions as required.
Work to gain exposure, practice and leadership on Safety at Customer Site, including participation in Contractor/Safety Councils
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in customer organisation.
Work closely with current customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory.
Provide support to leadership for Business Review meetings / monthly reports (i.e. create presentations and provide required information). Might also present/lead certain portions if required
Expected and encouraged to share and grow your knowledge and expertise collaboratively with colleagues across ChampionX, by regularly leveraging on available knowledge sharing platforms, such as CORE
Execute account sales plans under regular supervision of senior leaders, working to develop awareness of account profitability and overall health of account.
Assist team in developing profit improvement projects for client documenting value through CMV process
Monitor data from offshore and help to identify and resolve any issues identified / reported, work to create and present solution as appropriate.
Plan and lead customer trainings, events, seminars (i.e. Lunch and Learns)
Prioritise workload while balancing team needs and managing customer expectations
Interact with local Sales Team and peers in other areas, labs and support groups to drive customer satisfaction
Leadership Competencies:
Actively participate in the annual PP+D process and works with Manager to set goals for the upcoming year
Drive own Individual Development Plan (IDP), with support and input from Manager
Use Crucial Conversation skills to diffuse high tension situations and resolve conflict in a positive manner
Minimum Education and Experience:
2+ Years experience in a similar role
Experience using Microsoft based products
Ability to build and maintain successful relationships across multiple levels of the organisation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent work ethic; promoting a positive attitude at all times
Desirable Education and Experience:
Valid Offshore Survival Certificate (preferred)
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or other Science Subject
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in offshore environment.
