About the role:

Astute's renewables team is partnered with one of the UK leading Solar O&M suppliers to recruit a Solar Field Service Engineer.

The Solar Field Service Engineer will be providing site maintenance across O&M solar farms. This role comes with a salary of up to £38,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a company vehicle.

Responsibilities and duties:
The solar field service engineer role will have to:

Assist with preventive and corrective site maintenance
Demonstrate fault finding and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve reactive maintenance issues
Comply with HSE policies outlined by the company
Build positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
Be willing to response to breakdowns in a timely manner
Communicate with management, including highlighting any risks found
Complete accurate and timely administrative reports for jobs
Any other duties as required

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification or equivalent
City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing
18th edition

Personal skills:
The solar field service role would suit someone who has:
A UK Driving License
High Voltage experience, although not essential.
Knowledge of BS 7671 Wiring Regulation Standards
The willingness to participate in an on-call rota
Strong Electrical fault-finding skills
