Reporting to the Operations Director with full accountability for both onsite & global quality activities, driving process & organisational excellence to ensure consumer expectations of a luxury product are exceeded.
To define & establish quality standards; procedures; control of documentation; analysis of results; initiatives to sustain and improve standards. Control and monitor systems of audit and training to secure ownership of quality by all staff. Ensure that the quality values are defined, understood & delivered.
Main Duties:
* Key areas of responsibility: Failure and performance analysis, Customer Quality, Reliability, Quality management systems, Quality control and Quality improvement
* Responsible for setting and auditing the quality framework; standards and performance
* Leading and directing peers for sustained achievement and improvement of quality performance
* Full ownership of a Quality Management System to ensure ISO accreditation is maintained and achieved
* Liaising with suppliers setting and agreeing quality standards: limit samples
* Lead the improvement process, ensuring quality standards and improvements are communicated and understood globally
* Delivery of controlled documentation and quality analysis procedures
* Leading continuous review of process quality and improvement
* Continuously review all standard assuring the relevance and benefit
* Assure all necessary detail drawings, SOPs and charts are current and accurate
* Maintain records; address trend data; maintain audit trail
* Monitor, analysis and countermeasures relating to market quality and cost
* Raising of NCRs, including working with teams to resolve through clearly defined preventative measures
* Controlling cost of field quality and true cost of Quality
* Securing In process and final inspection quality
* Data capture; collation; secure audit trail and analysis
* Training and application of all quality procedures
Qualifications & Experience:
* Recognised Qualification in relevant discipline
* Demonstrable experience and success at a senior level in Quality Leadership, governance, evaluation, and improvement in a manufacturing environment
* Demonstrated experience in manufacturing environments
* Knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving techniques
* Knowledge and experience of quality management systems including ISO9001 and ISO14001
