The Project:
Dewey Group are lucky to be working closely with a reputable piling contractor to supply labour for their project in Inverness. The project will involve the construction of a Diaphragm Wall initially with the potential for additional piling work to be added later in the year. Work is looking to roll into 2025 and beyond, so this could be a great opportunity for anyone looking for long term work.
Job Description:
As a Tractor Driver at Dewey Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of work on our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a tractor with a bowser attachment to transport and distribute water to construction sites.
* Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of the tractor and bowser equipment.
* Monitor and control water levels in the bowser to meet the specific requirements of different construction activities.
* Coordinate with site supervisors to determine water distribution needs based on project timelines and objectives.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating the tractor and bowser.
* Adhere to site traffic control measures and follow designated routes.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Valid driver's license essential with additional driving qualifications being desirable.
* Proven experience as a Tractor Driver preferably with a Bowser in a construction or site environment.
* CSCS/CPCS card or other site based qualification.
Shift Pattern:
The site will be running a 14 day on, 7 day off, 14 nights on style shift pattern. However, initially the role will be Mon-Fri 7:30-17:30, this is however subject to change due to project requirements, overtime and weekends may also initially be required, so a degree of flexibility with your working pattern will be expected.
