Based in Hertford, Hertfordshire our award-winning client is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on permanent basis.

This job would suit an AAT qualified accountant or ACCA/ CIMA studier with a minimum or 3 years' experience in accounting.

This company is a multi-award-winning business has an extremely impressive record delivering professional and committed services in its Sector for over 35 years and is going through an exciting period of growth.

The successful individual will have good Excel skills, including v-lookups and pivot tables. This individual must be able to hit the ground running with Sage Line 200. Construction Industry experience would be preferred but not essential.

Job responsibilities:

Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Conduct month-end and quarter-end balance sheet reconciliations for relevant accounts, offering detailed explanations for any variances.
Overseeing Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger Reports
CIS Involvement
Budgeting and Forecasting: Support in the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analysing financial data to aid in accurate predictions and planning
Running month end reports
Coding Invoices for Data Entry
Financial Reporting: Assist in the meticulous preparation of monthly Profit and Loss Accounts
Provide quality cost control and analysis reporting insights where required.
Cash Book Management
Year-End Statutory Accounts: Assist in year-end statutory accounts preparation as required.
