Exciting Opportunity in Runcorn

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students who are struggling in mainstream? Do you have experience supporting on a 1:1 basis?, do you have vast experience working with SEN pupils If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are working with a Primary school in Runcorn to recruit a TA to work full time to support a Y4 pupil on a 1-1 basis.

The ideal candidate will have expereince of supporting students with a personailised curriculum and wll be able to build a relationship and help the student overcome any obstacles and barriers to learning.

The role will begin ASAP but you will be provided with an opportunity to look around school and meet with the child before making the commitment.

Roles and Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant at the school, you will play a crucial role in supporting the students educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing personalised 1:1 support to students, tailoring your approach to their unique needs.
Facilitating engaging and interactive learning experiences for the pupil you are supporting.
Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to create a holistic and effective support system.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Previous experience working with students with SEN or working 1:1
A genuine passion for providing learning support.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
Hold a Teaching Assistant Level 2 or equivilant qualification. or 2 years classroom experience.
GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above/ or functional skills level 2.
