Page Personnel are recruiting for an Finance Assistant to join a specialist construction business based in Bolton.
The purpose of this role is to support the finance team across all areas of transactional finance including payroll cover for a weekly payroll. The primary focused of this role is purchase ledger however sales ledger and payroll duties will also be included.

Description
Finance Assistant duties include:
Completing Daily bank reconciliations
Inputting invoices on the system
To complete purchase ledger month end statement reconciliations
Process monthly petty cash transactions
Dealing with invoicing queries
Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
Assisting with weekly payroll
Taking care of adhoc administrative tasks
Performs other related duties as assignedProfile
The successful Finance Assistant candidate will:
Have a proven track record in a similar role
Previous payroll experience would be desirable
Be studying AAT / ACCA / CIMA or be qualified by experience
Knowledge of COINS would be desirable but not essential
Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
Be able to work alone or as part of a team
Be proficient in MS Office including MS ExcelJob Offer
A salary up to £29,000 DOE, hybrid working, pension, parking & more
