Estimator

Premier Recruitment Solutions is a specialist recruitment company working in partnership with a regional contractor.

We are recruiting for an Estimator to join their growing business. Experience of Fit out and refurbishment, design and build, and small works projects up to £3m. The company has a really positive culture, they do events, days out and work well as team.

You will be working as an Estimator on a project in Fareham.

Requirements for the Estimator job role:

HNC / HND or similar qualification

Your duties as an Estimator will include:

Working with the estimating, surveying and Tecnical team.
Be a successful team member and work both proactively and positively.
As a minimum, have at least 3 -5 years' experience of preparing and submitting tenders.
Accurately complete take-offs and finished pricing from first principles as well as gaining subcontract engagement.
Possess a sound knowledge of building construction techniques
Work under your own initiative and using good organisational skills, successfully manage workload to achieve tender return dates and winning tenders.
Have good communication and negotiating skills.
Ideally have some knowledge of planning and presentation.
Ability to use estimating software.

Standard Hours for the Estimator job role: Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00

(But sometimes you may be required to work longer due to the workloads)

Weekend work may be available
