This key leadership role is based in the Midlands and involves overseeing the strategic management of our extensive industrial portfolio.

Position Overview: As the Head of Estates, you will be responsible for the effective management and optimisation of an industrial portfolio across the UK. This role encompasses strategic planning, asset management, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in estates management, a keen understanding of the industrial property market, and the ability to lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans for the management and enhancement of the industrial property portfolio.
Lead a team of professionals responsible for day-to-day estate management activities, including leasing, asset optimization, and maintenance.
Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
Drive the performance and financial viability of the industrial portfolio through effective budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
Oversee lease negotiations, renewals, and terminations, ensuring optimal occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction.
Conduct regular property inspections and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and compliance with relevant regulations.
Foster positive relationships with tenants, local authorities, and other stakeholders to enhance the reputation and value of the industrial portfolio.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business, or a related field.
MRICS
Proven experience in managing large industrial property portfolios, demonstrating a track record of successful portfolio optimization.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing estates team.
In-depth knowledge of property management principles, leasing practices, and relevant legislation.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
Financial acumen and the ability to analyze and interpret complex data to drive informed decision-making.
Familiarity with sustainability considerations in property management is desirable.
