Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent an experienced SEND specialist for a senior leadership role based in a growing alternative provision (CV10 8JX, Nuneaton, West Midlands). If you are a SEND specialist who is available immediately or from Easter or September 2024, we would be keen to speak with you.

If you are an experienced Deputy Headteacher or Assistant Headteacher for SEND, who has worked with primary (KS2) or secondary aged pupils this role may be for you. We are currently supporting an established alternative provision site based in Nuneaton, (CV10 8JX, West Midlands) with their journey of growth. Now having a substantial, executive headteacher in place they have progressed positively over the last 7 months and are growing their team further. They are currently seeking a Quality of Education Leader for their Nuneaton site on a full-time, basis. The role holds similar duties to that of a senior leader (Assistant Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Phase Leader).

The role can be offered temporary with immediate effect, or as a direct contract from now to August 2024 with a view to being permanent in September 2024. The school has been through substantial changes since the beginning of the academic year and the site now has 30-35 pupils in attendance and offers SEMH provision to children aged 11-19. All pupils hold a EHCP and Many have a diagnosis of SEMH, alongside autism, cognition and learning, communication and other specific challenges. A tour of the site and an informal meeting with the executive headteacher can be arranged as a first step.

A relevant UK based qualification.

Substantial experience working within an education setting.

All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.

Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your experience and personal requirements. You will be provided with advice and guidance in relation to your requirements that respect your home and work life balance. You will work solely with your consultant throughout your registration journey and beyond, always having direct access to speak with them on a one-to-one basis.

Proposed start date: February 2024

Salary: National leadership scale L4 to L8 (day rate equivalent, £260 - £285 per day)
