About the opportunity:
Due to ongoing company expansion and a healthy pipeline, our client is recruiting permanently for a Project Health and Safety Manager to be based on a long term heavy industrial demolition contract in Runcorn, Cheshire.
Reporting directly to the Health and Safety Associate Director, you will be responsible for carrying out site inspections and audits; reviewing subcontractor documentation and training; providing SHE advice to the project team and attending regular meetings; leading accident / incident investigations; assisting with the production of site documentation (RAMS); preparing and delivering site inductions and maintaining up to date health and safety company policies to name just a few duties.
About the benefits and rewards:
For professionals at the right level of experience, our client is offering a strong basic salary of £55,000 to £62,000 per annum (specifics will be dependent on previous experience). Furthermore, expenses will be covered in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large, successful contractor.
About the requirements:
In order to be considered for this opportunity, it is imperative you hold a minimum of 5 years on site experience in providing competent health and safety advice, specifically within the demolition sector. Additionally you must hold a NEBOSH in Construction Certificate, full first aid, asbestos awareness and a valid CSCS card. Furthermore, you should be working toward Grad IOSH or MIIRSM and due to location, must be based within commutable distance from Runcorn, Cheshire.
