The package would be 22k-36k basic plus overtime, travel payments & call out bonus, dependant on relevant industry experience & qualifications.

Cherwell Doors are looking for a mechanical engineer to join their Banbury team.

Established & based in Banbury, Oxfordshire in 2002 & with over 30 years of engineering industry experience.

Cherwell Doors primarily specialises in the industrial door market. In addition to our many conventional projects, we pride ourselves on tackling the most challenging tasks, including bespoke installations for a number of clients.

We install, maintain & repair all types of industrial doors & entrance system for our many commercial clients including the recycling industry, government sites & many independent business operators.

As the successful Industrial Door Engineer will be working with a locally based engineer as part of a two man team, you must be within a short & manageable commute of the Banbury office.

The ideal Industrial Door Engineer must have a good working knowledge of hands-on mechanical engineering in order to carry out repairs, maintenance & installations on industrial doors & entrance systems.

Additionally, you should have experience of site work.

Previous experience within the mechanical engineering industry is essential for this post.

Additionally, you will need to be equipped with your own hand tools.

A full, clean driving licence is essential for this position, as you be required to travel by company vehicle to clients premises.

The Industrial Door Engineer's salary will be dependent on previous experience & industry qualifications.

NVQ 2, CSCS card, IPAF & PASMA certificate holders preferred.

This is a permanent full time position that may include additional overtime outside of the standard working week.

Standard hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
