Overview

Highly successful SME Electronics Manufacturing company require experienced Quality Manager, to undertake a newly created position, based at a conveniently situated offices in Staines upon Thames.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain the Quality Manager will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of all quality processes and will communicate their findings to key contacts across the organisation. Key duties include:

* Conducting an in-depth quality inspection for both goods inwards and goods outwards ensuring all components & products are fit for purpose

* Ensuring the organisation meets the required ISO9001 standards

* Supporting and facilitating customer Quality Audits

* Ensuring regulatory compliance of all products to include; RoHs, REACH and CMRT

* Supporting the Purchasing Manager with regard to attending supplier Quality Audits

* Implementation & maintenance of corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) across the business

* Management reporting on the cost implications of all quality matters

* Reporting on customer returns to include cause analysis and corrective actions

* Communicating quality matters and ensuring an increased awareness, regarding quality, across the business

* Striving for continuous improvements and working against agreed performance metrics

About you

* Graduate calibre you will have a proven track record within Quality Management, ideally gained within the Electronics Manufacturing sector

* In addition you will have the ability to manage and prioritise a complex workload within agreed time frames

* Applicants will have a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills and the ability to build long-term internal & external relationships
