We are recruiting for a Manual Horizontal Borer to join a diverse manufacturing client based near Broxburn.

This role has been created due to business growth and the business are looking to add a new permanent member off staff for their team.

Successful candidates must be time-served or able to demonstrate a competency through experience to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specifications.

Candidates must have experience in a similar role operating a Manual Horizontal Borer. Experience with other manual machinery including Lathes, Millers and Vertical Borers is advantageous. Experience working with Duplex/ Super Duplex is a must due to the nature of the work.

Hours - Monday - Friday 40 hours - Standard Days 7AM - 4PM

12 hour Day Shifts 6-6 and Night also available

All Overtime paid at Premium Rates after 40 hours

The Ideal candidates will have :

* Experience working within a machine shop environment machining of both fabricated and cast components to fine tolerances in either single or batch quantities and in a variety of steel grades.

* The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings. overhead crane operating experience

The ability to manipulate a Manual Horizontal Borer

* Experience working with various materials including Duplex/ Super Duplex
