Mathematics Teacher for SEN School

Remedy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mathematics education to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a Mathematics Teacher you will contribute to the development of an engaging and supportive learning environment that meets the unique needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver effective mathematics lessons tailored to the specific learning styles and needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters student engagement and participation.
Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning levels within the autism spectrum.
Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and professionals to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and the SEN team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Specialised training or experience in teaching mathematics to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Understanding of the unique challenges and learning styles associated with ASD.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to create and adapt resources to meet individual learning needs.
