Engine Maintenance Technician (MWM Engines)

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Engine Maintenance Technician to join a Power Generation business.

Covering Oxford, Basingstoke and Southampton, you will travel to various sites to carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of engines, predominantly MWM.

As the Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance on various sites across Oxford, Basingstoke and Southampton
Responding to breakdowns and carrying out repairs efficiently on large Gas Engines and CHP units
Operate within strict Health & Safety standards
Ensure all paperwork and legislation is followed and kept up to date
Working as part of an on-call rota with a team of other engineers
Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:

Proven experience in an engine maintenance role
Experience with MWM engines is essential for this position
The ability to travel to various sites with a flexible approach to hours
A relevant engineering qualification; Apprenticeship/NVQ/Btec/HNC etc
A full UK driving licence
