Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30-13:30. 37 Hours per week.

A Production Technician sought for a well-established niche manufacturer of hi-tech capital equipment, who are true specialist in their industry. The company are experiencing ongoing growth and success within their markets. They offer a varied role for the successful candidate.

Requiring a strong level of attention to detail, you will undertake the build and test of a full range of products. You will be responsible for electrical and mechanical assembly from drawings, wiring schedules, electrical schematics and Microsoft Excel & Word documents. You will complete all relevant quality checks and paperwork relating to the builds. You must report any issues to production management and ensure any non-conforming parts follow the Return-to-vendor/ Non-conformance Report process.

The Role:

Electrical and mechanical assembly in accordance with mechanical assembly drawings, wiring schedules, electrical schematics and Microsoft Excel & Word documents
Build and test of a full range of products
Ensure all non-conforming parts follow the RTV/ NCR process
Complete all relevant quality checks and paperwork relating to the builds

The Person:

Experience in a similar role
BTEC Level 3 or equivalent in an electronic/ electrical discipline is advantageous
Hands on experience of mechanical assembly processes
