Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Technical Compliance Manager to join our passionate and driven team based at our Glasgow office.
The Technical Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing engineers and subcontractors, leading on all technical matters and remedial works, completing client reporting, and ensuring all compliance-related records and kept to completeness

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure regular reports or dashboards are produced which fully demonstrate the position of compliance in relation to Atalian Servests services for the client.
Ensure all staff, engineers and subcontractors working on the client estate are suitably trained, qualified, and competent to do so.
Provide technical advice in regard to maintenance, repair and projects on all activities.
Support the avoidance and mitigation of commercial contract risks through non-performance. Identify scope gap risks and any changes to legislation and industry regulations which impact on the scope of service delivery.
Undertake audits and assurance checks in agreed programme.
Technical
Ensure all compliance planned visits are undertaken in accordance with compliance schedule, and all maintenance is carried out in line with statutory and mandatory requirements.
Ensure contract achieves 100% Statutory and mandatory compliance, KPI adherence and critical engineering asset framework protecting and enhancing of customer assets.
Raise remedial works and advise on corrective measures as needed in order to maintain compliance and minimise risk on the estate.
People
Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through clear and consistent communication.
Ensure proactive updates and prompt response is provided to the client, given the criticality and urgent nature of their operation.
Planning & Organising
Documenting process and procedures required for ensuring compliance on the client estate.
Ensure all estate asset information is kept up to state in CAFM system, and that robust change control procedures are implemented.
Commercial / Financial
Support the Account Director and Account Managers in preventing KPI breaches in related areas and any associated KPI penalty.
Prevent contract scope creep by monitoring changes in maintenance requirements & asset base and supporting any required commercial baseline.
Team
Support both contract and central teams in all activities of delivery and reporting of planned maintenance tasks to the clients requirements.
Assist engineering teams with toolbox talks, training, site visits and ad-hoc support as required.
About You:
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
5+ years working within building services / facilities management
Candidates will ideally be either trade qualified and experienced or qualified within a Building Services discipline. Professional registration of CIBSE / IEng with a relevant body is advantageous.
Previous appointments as an Authorised Person or Senior Authorised Person for LV, HV, Mechanical High Risk or Confined Spaces are advantageous.
Understanding of Microsoft Office software packages.
Enhanced knowledge of energy management and sustainability initiatives are advantageous.
Experience in a compliance or safety role is desirable.
Extensive knowledge of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 essential.
