Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Service and Maintenance: Repair and maintain plant equipment to manufacturer specifications, ensuring machine reliability and safety.
* Detail-Oriented Approach: Report machine defects, upsell services, and create financial opportunities for yourself by showcasing the value of our client's offerings.
* Diagnostic Expertise: Successfully diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and other faults, using diagnostic software.
* Documentation: Complete detailed reports, including photographs, using our client's in-house personal tablet system.
* Safety First: Complete risk assessments, adhere to health and safety policies, and ensure safe working practices.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualifications: Relevant qualifications such as City and Guild, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent.
* Experience: Proven experience in construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, and transmissions.
* Skills: Strong IT skills, ability to build relationships, effective communication, excellent time management, and a professional image.
* Driving: Must hold a full driving licence and have the ability to operate machinery on site for testing purposes (training provided).
