Vehicle Prepper
Location: Thurleigh, Bedfordshire
Pay Rate: Up to £17 p/h
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday
Hours: 6am 4:30pm
Igloo has a fantastic opportunity for vehicle prepper in Thurleigh. The role offers the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UKs leading automotive companies who have operations across the country.
The Role:
* You will be sanding down vehicle panels using different grades of sandpaper and a dual action sander.
* You will be completing all final preparation work on the vehicles.
* Repairing damaged panels on vehicles using the correct methods and materials.
* Working on a range of new and used vehicles.
* You will be working within a large, modern, well equipped automotive bodyshop as part of a team.
What kind of person we are looking for?
* You will need previous experience of working within an automotive bodyshop as a vehicle prepper and understand vehicle repair methods.
* Be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of all aspects of preparing vehicles ready for paint.
* You will need to work efficiently but to a high standard.
* Hold a full, category B driving license, with no more than 6 points for minor offences
