Management Accountant

Full-Time Permanent and office based

An incredible opportunity for an experienced management accounant has become available at our clients accountancy practice in Faversham. We do require someone with at least 5 years experience within a practice environment.

Key Responsibilities as a Management Accountant:

* Training and analysing of Management Accounts

* Assessing and supervising the work of the junior team

* Progressing and coaching of the junior team

* Overseeing payroll reviews

* Maintaining and update customer's accounting records

* Accurately prepare and review VAT Returns

* Supporting customers by enhancing their internal processes and practices

* Providing provisional monetary controller assistance to our customers as required

Key Requirements and skills:

* Skilled bookkeeping and preparation of VAT Returns

* Good understanding of VAT

* Good effective communication skills

* Capability to prepare management accounts, including KPIs and cash flows.

* Excellent payroll experience and knowledge

* Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

* Confident meeting and working closely with consumers.

* Knowledge of Xero, Sage and Key accounts would be good.

* Ideally some with a AAT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

* Experience in industry as a financial accountant would be ideal

* An interest in farming, land and estates and renewables would also be desirable
