Site Engineering Manager - Food Manufacturing
Monday-Friday (8am-4pm)
Role Responsibilities:
* Deliver comprehensive management of the Engineering and Engineering Technical Teams.
* Lead regular face to face meetings to coach, motivate and engage with people and teams.
* Manage, monitor, and control business and budgeting activities.
* Drive the transition from reactive to proactive Engineering.
* Manage within the company guidelines on all policies and procedures. (Absence, disciplinary & Grievance, Health & Safety, and security) Ensuring the Engineering Function meets all current statutory H&S obligations.
* Oversee the Engineering Stores procurement regarding any stock shortfalls, defect parts or compatibility issues.
* Identify potential engineering and system projects, upgrades to improve and safeguard operational performance.
To be successful:
* Experience leading large multi-disciplined Engineering teams within a fast paced environment.
* Be a confident leader, Strong decision-making and able to engage with senior leadership teams.
* Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, TPM Methodology or Manufacturing excellence.
* Experienced in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
* Knowledge of SCADA and PLC-based control systems.
* Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems.
