Job role: HGV Mechanic
Location: Stoke
Salary: £18.27 per hour
Hours: Monday Friday (various shifts available)
Shift: Early, Day or late (40 hrs)
Overtime: All paid at 1.5X

HGV Mechanic opportunity

My client, a well-established commercial vehicle fleet maintenance company is actively seeking to add a fully skilled, experienced and qualified HGV Mechanic to their team in the Stoke depot. You will be working on a fleet of circa 150 vehicles (predominately DAF) to include some trailers / vans. Role available due to increased workloads

HGV Mechanic duties will include

General servicing, repairs and maintenance
Vehicle inspections
Running defects
MOT preparation / presentation
Fault finding
Diagnostics

The successful HGV Mechanic should have

Industry recognised qualifications, either city & guilds or NVQ Level Three in HGV
Experience gained in a similar role
Diesel engine experience
